Lincoln Middle School where I`ve been since 2002.

Jeff Caillouette:

Jeff Caillouette  has been JC Music's General Manager and Owner since he formed the business in 1988. JC was named a Life Member of the "National Registry of Who's Who in Business" in 2000. In 2002 he was named to the "National Register's Who's Who in Executives and Professionals in the Music Industry." In 2004, JC was named to the "Metropolitan Directory of Executives, Professionals & Entrepreneurs." For 2007 he was named a life member of "Who's Who in Executives and Professionals in the Music Industry." JC was recently named to the 2011 edition of the "Presidential Who's Who". JC has been a member of NAMM, the "National Association of Music Merchants," since 1989 and has been a member of MENC, the "National Association for Music Education," since 1986. JC is a former member and Co-Chairman on President Bush's Business Advisory Council under the direction of Senator Tom Delay from 2002 - 2004

As a musician; JC has over thirty-six years of experience in playing and performing on musical instruments. He studied for six years with the late drummer Jim Roszelle from the Hartt School of Music and the group Spiral. JC then studied for six years with world renowned and internationally recognized jazz drummer Ed Soph. Ed has performed with Stan Kenton, Woody Herman, Clark Terry, Eddie Daniels and countless others along with presenting master classes throughout the world. JC went on to study percussion for four years with Constance Coghlan, principal percussionist of the U.S. Coast Guard Band. He also studied voice with Dorothy Barnhardt, director of Chorale Connecticut and studied privately for several years on the saxophone, trumpet and trombone. JC has performed with many area bands and has performed many shows as the former drummer for the "On Stage Performers." JC also played the euphonium as an original member of the Connecticut Brass in 1987. JC is a former member of the JC Lentini Band of New Britain and has played with the Rock/Blues band "TBC" 2003-2006.

JC holds a MME, Master of Music Education Degree, from CCSU where he received the President's award for Academic Excellence in the field of Music. He taught music at Northend Middle School in Waterbury in 1990 and was a band and orchestra director at both Lincoln and Washington Middle Schools in Meriden from 1991 through 1996. JC was then the director of instrumental music at Maloney High School in Meriden from 1997 through 2002. JC directed over 100 members in the marching and concert bands, along with a Jazz Band, a Pit Orchestra for musicals, a Chamber String Orchestra, a Drum Line and numerous other ensembles along with teaching guitar, theory and music history. In 2002, JC was named to "Who's Who Among America's Teachers," an honor which came through student recommendations. JC resigned from teaching in 2003 to devote his time to expand JC Music to a more global business and to spend time helping his daughter develop a professional career in the performing arts. JC also spent 2003-2005 as a Regional Sales Manager for one of Canada's largest cable manufacturers. In November 2004, JC created Castle West Realty where he is presently the CEO. JC is presently a co-director and founder of Meriden's Augusta Curtis Concert Band and was a member of the organizing board of directors for The Central Connecticut Civic Youth Orchestra (CCCYO). JC joined the Meriden Arts Council as a board member in 2007and is a former chairman on the Meriden Symphony Board of Directors.
